With his Jagunlabi Foundation, the Osi-Ekiti, Kwara State born businessman has been able to cater for the aged, grant scholarships, provide medical assistance and empowerment programmes to various people.
Recently he beamed his focus on the need to use sport to discourage the youth from crime and idleness with the Jagunlabi Foundation Football Tournament where he gathered the youth in his Local Government area into a competition and awarded the winners with cash gifts and sporting items.
The competition had scouts from different parts of the world in attendance and footballer, Sam Elijah was able to spot some talents at the competition.
Abdulkarim during the competition confessed his love for his people and the reason he believes charity must begin at home as he urged the youth to embrace peace, stay focused and be the pride of the nation. He promised to make the competition annual as he also revealed his plans to provide job opportunities from some of his other interests.
