Few days after the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Southwest congress in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has sent Ramadan gifts to his estranged political ally, Alhaji AbdulRasheed Adebisi Olopoeyan.
Sources told OYOINSIGHT.COM that Makinde extended the olive branch in order to launch a reconciliation move.
The relationship between Makinde and Olopoeyan, this newspaper understands, have turned sour following alleged neglect in political patronage.
Olopoeyan, according to Isaac Brown on his ongoing programme, Crossfire, on Fresh 105.9 FM, was said to have rejected the truckload of gifts.
Brown quoted Olopoeyan as saying that he rejected the gift because Makinde would not have sent him gift if he had been killed at the just concluded congress.
