Being the only aspirant that obtained form to represent Oyo North senatorial district, 3599 All Progressives Congress, APc delegates in Okeogun and Ogbomoso tonight affirmed the candidature of Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari.
Buhari, who is completing his first term in the red chamber, was a member of the House of Representatives between 2003 and 2007. He was a cabinet member in the Governor Abiola Ajimobi administration between 2011 and 2015
He was declared around 10 pm at the exercise which took place at Iseyin.
In his brief acceptance speech, Buhari who has Ph.D in political science expressed gratitude to the party members, promising to continue to do more in alleviating their sufferings and empowering the needy.
