As a way of celebrating this year’s children day, Mukaila Lamidi, chairman of the disciplinary committee of the Park Management System, PMS, today visited Motherless Babies Homes to mark Children’s Day celebration in the state.
The visit, which was held in a bid to ensure that the motherless babies do not feel left out of the national children’s day celebration and also as a way of extending the Chairman’s hands of kindness back to the society, recorded huge success.
Auxiliary, who was in company of the special assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs, Hon. Victor Olojede, Oyo State NANS Officials, some Student Union Presidents, some members of the Oyo State Park Management System and a host of many others visited the Taiwo Adeyanju Center for Children and People with Special needs and Jesus Children Mission at Bodija, Ibadan where he donated food items and cash gifts to the homes.
Promising to make such visits more often, Auxiliary praised Gov. Seyi Makinde, for the good work His Excellency is doing in Oyo State and he also admonished well-meaning Nigerians to endeavor to remember the needy children and ensure that the motherless and helpless children do not feel left out of our society.
