Oyo-based sociocultural group, Arewa Foundation, is set to hold its second cultural day and award ceremony on the 25th of March.
The foundation, which is aimed at promoting and adding value to Yoruba culture so that it won’t go into extinction, started the event two years ago.
The last edition was held at KY hotel, Oyo and this year will hold at Omagid event Centre, along Akinmonrin, Oyo.
Among the personalities for the last edition was Oba’binrin Animasahun from lagos, Aare Sesan onibode from Saki, Oba Orisa of Oyo state.
The expected guests for this year’s edition will be led by the Commissioner for information and culture in Oyo state, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun,
The organizer of the event is Arewa Adebola Adegbola, a Presenter and actress.
