The governorship candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Oyo State, Hon. Adeshina Adewale (Excel) on Tuesday congratulates the Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his re-election, saying unprecedented achievements recorded by Makinde’s administration earned him the second term.
He said the overwhelming votes the governor gathered at the just concluded election showed peoples love and support for him, adding that more dividends of democracy awaits people in the Omituntun 2.0.
A statement personally signed by the APGA gubernatorial candidate noted that Makinde’s victory didn’t come to him as a surprise because the governor has never for once disappointed people of the state who voted him into power.
Accord to him, governor Makinde is peoples governor who have touched the lives of the masses particularly the less privileges and downtrodden in the state.
He described the victory of Makinde as truth above the lies of the opposition who put their personal interest above the interest of the masses.
He urged the re-elected governor to continue his infrastructural development in the state and fulfilled his campaign promises to the electorates/populace.
He however wished Makinde a successful tenure as Omituntun 2.0 for sustainability and development of the state is about to begin.
He therefore called on people of the state to join hands with Makinde so as to take the state to it’s promise land.
