Jumoke Akinjide, a former minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has commiserated with Teslim Folarin, three-term senator representing Oyo central and his family, over the death of his wife, Barr. Angela Nwaka Folarin, who passed away on Friday.
Akinjide, in a statement made available to newsmen, said the passing of Angela as tragic and devastating.
According to Oloye, as she is fondly called, “the late Barr. Angela Folarin was a truly virtuous woman, a pillar of support to her husband and loving and compassionate wife and mother who related well with the family, friends and political associates of her husband.
“Angela was not only a devoted supporter to her husband, she was a mother figure and an advocate and adviser whose words of encouragement and counsel were invaluable.
“My heartfelt condolences to Most Distinguished Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin and to the entire family on the passing of Angela. My prayer is that the Lord would console the entire family and grant the departed eternal rest,” she said.
