Funke Adesiyan, special assistant to Nigeria’s first lady on special duties, has described late Angela, wife of Teslim Folarin, senator representing Oyo central for a third term, as a woman every good man needs.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, who was very close to the family, said the deceased United Kingdom trained lawyer was more than a wife to Folarin, who is eyeing the governorship seat in the 2023 election.
According to her, “I commiserate with the Folarin and Nwaka family on the demise of a dearest wife, mother and daughter who was called unto glory.
“Barrister Angela was more than a politician’s wife. She was a politician par excellence, a visionary and a valuable support system. She was an epitome of what every politician’s wife should be. Solidly beside our distinguished senator every step of the way. I will miss our friendship deeply,” she added.
“May God give the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. Aameen.”
