As Christians all over the world celebrate Easter, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Orire federal constituency in the house of representatives, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao-Akala has urged everyone to show love and be selfless to one another.
According to the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, it has become more important for everyone to assist one another as the nation is coming out of economic crisis.
The former chairman of Ogbomoso North local government made this known in a statement personally signed to extend felicitation to Christians.
“I like to rejoice our Christian brethren to celebrate this year’s Easter. The lessons we have learnt in the last few weeks should guide us in whatever we do. I know Easter peaches loves and selflessness. Let’s exhibit these to our people. More than before, everyone needs assistance as we navigate out of this troubled water our nation has found itself.
“I know this present administration was voted in to right the wrongs of the past. And there is no time for excuse. The Bola Tinubu administration, I know for a fact, has laid a solid foundation to take Nigeria and Nigerians out of the wood. It won’t happen at once but gradual. While waiting for that, we should support our neighbors. We should be selfless with whatever we have and do.
”We should also exercise more patience. We are almost out of the problems. We will soon start praying for this government and our leaders. So as we celebrate Easter, we shouldn’t forget to show love to one another. It will quicken our bid to get a nation of our dream. Happy celebration to us all,” the Ogbomoso-born politician added.
