Alao-Akala Commiserates Family, Friends Over Oba Adeyemi’s Departure

    The family of late former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, has commiserated with the family of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, who joined his ancestor last week.

    A condolence letter signed by Olamiju, son of the late leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who also died early this year, “express our sincere condolences on the demise of Kabiyesi, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Atanda Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo who joined his ancestors  at the age of 83years.

    “Although the death of Kabiyesi, one of the foremost traditional rulers in the country, was painful, not only did he not rein long enough to uplift his domain the more, but also because he died at a period when his ideas, prayers and wise counsel are needed in our nation.

    “Kabiyesi was passionate about the peace, progress anddevelopment of his town and the upward movement of his subjects at home and in diaspora to greater heights . A lovely king, baba was a blessing to his people.

    “Kabiyesi lived an eventful life and his achievements are  exemplary. This is enough legacy that the family could be proud of.

    “We pray to God to comfort the troubled minds of the children, family members and the Kingmakers at this moment  of grieve.

    “Adieu, an illustrious son of Yorubaland, Oyo state and a detribalized Nigerian.

    “Once, again, please accept our heartfelt condolences,” the former chairman of Ogbomoso North local govenenent, who is eying the Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire federal constituency seat added.
