Akure Reps Bye-Election: Titi Gbadamosi, Fakorede, Others Make APC Primary C’tee List

    Oyo-born youthful politicians — Titi Gbadamosi and Jide Fakorede would join the outgoing deputy governor of Anambra state, Nkem Okeke, to conduct the primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC to pick the candidate for the Akure South/Akure North federal constituency bye-election into the House of Representatives.

    To be led by Okeke, the 7-man committee was appointed by the national leadership of the APC.

    While Gbadamosi, who was special assistant to late former governor Abiola Ajimobi on community relations, hails from Ibadan North West, Fakorede hails from Ogbomoso South local government. Both are media strategists and consultants. Titi attended the University of Ibadan while Fakorede is an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

    The bye-election holds tomorrow and will be by indirect mode of primary.

    The seven-man Committee has Ambassador Anthony Ogah as Secretary.
