The leadership of the house of representatives are in advanced talk with the office chief of air staff, H.B Abubakar to bring the remains of Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi to Ibadan for burial.
Akinremi, an All Progressives Congress, APC, had initially been elected in 2019 and reelected in 2023.
One of the members from Oyo state, who has military background, Abass Agboworin, has been detailed to handle the process.
Akinremi, 51, was representing Ibadan North federal constituency for the second term, before he died in the early hours of today.
Meanwhile, the family has reacted to the death of the beloved son.

We regret to announce the passing of Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, who until his death was the member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives. Hon. Olaide Akinremi died following a brief illness.
