It is the best of times for Ibadan’s fast-rising Agidigbo FM as it has just netted a big fish in the broadcast industry. Olaolu Caleb Olatubosun has just the darling radio of the masses.
The ace broadcaster is coming with more than four decades of experience on television and radio.
Born in 1957 in Bolgatanga, a municipal area in the Upper East region of Ghana, he is an alumnus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan having graduated in 1983. He would later bag a master’s degree and postgraduate diploma in mass communications from the University of Ibadan, in 1993 and his alma mater in 2001 respectively.
Information sourced from Primus Media City, a platform that has carved a unique niche for itself as a hub for all media practitioners in and outside Ibadan, works have taken him to the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Ibadan where he served as a TV announcer, newscaster and programmes presenter. He then moved to the Television Service of Oyo State in 1982 and worked in the same capacity before moving to Ogun State Television, Abeokuta.
Olaolu Olatubosun made a return to Oyo State in 1990 at the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State where he further established himself as a maestro in personality interviews and musical programmes. This earned him the privilege of being the master of ceremonies at all state functions including presidential visits at the time.
Olaolu Olatubosun will be bringing his wealth of experience live on Agidigbo 88.7 FM on a grand political show.
