Agboworin Visits Burnt Araromi Spare Parts Market, Support Victims With Cash

Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) visited the burnt down Araromi Spare Part Market, Ibadan over the fire incident that gutted their shops and goods worth billions of naira, donated cash palliative to support victims.

The President of the market traders, Mr Moruf Olanrewaju, took the federal lawmaker and his entourage round the market to inspect the level of destruction of goods and property worth billions of naira.

Agboworin later held a meeting with leaders of the market to discuss the way forward on grounds in resolving and coming to the aid of the victim’s.

The federal lawmaker made a donation of one million naira as a cash palliative to the market in support of victims affected in the inferno.

“We will continue to support our people because we know how important this market is to our constituency and to the economy of dear state, Oyo.

“During the electioneering the people of the market pledge their support, now they need our support which I have come to their aid,” he said.

The leaders of the market thanked Agboworin who visited the inferno scene to provide cash palliative to victim’s of the inferno.

They also praised the government of Oyo State under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde for his support since the occurrence of the inferno, he’s the People’s Governor.

On his entourage were  Ibadan North-East Party chairman Isiaka Fatokun (Baba Abuye), Leader Remi Yusuf, Hon. Seun Adelore Chairman of all party chairman who is also the Chairman Waste Management Board, Hon. Olusola Owolabi representing Ibadan North-East constituency 2, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo Immediate Past caretaker chairman of Ibadan North-East Local Government and the chairmanship candidate in the coming local Government election, other party leaders, elders, Ibadan North-East Local Government executives, Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East councillorship candidate of the party, PDP.
