A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC from Ibadan South East/Ibadan North East federal constituency, Hon. Seun Olateju has described the homecoming of the Minister of Power, Chief Abdulwaheed Adebayo Adelabu as a good step to strengthen the progressive ideology in Oyo state and a big boost to reclaim the Agodi Government House.
A statement in Ibadan from Hon. Olateju media team also indicates that the trooping out of party supporters, leaders and well wishers to grace the epoch making event clearly bears testimony to the fact that Chief Adelabu is a political titan of no mean proportion, with wide acceptability and goodwill.
“Chief Adelabu’s return will turn around the fortune of our great party in terms of dividends of democracy, welfare for the members and solid footing ahead of the next general elections”. Olateju stated.
On unity and accommodation of interests within the party, Hon. Olateju advised Chief Adelabu to ensure every member enjoys sense of belonging and equal opportunity in the scheme of things.
“I believe Chief Adelabu is a great party leader, an altruist who is known for giving priority to empowerment and welfare for the youth, women and even the elderly.”
He expressed optimism that the realization of the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu is on course with the Minister’s home coming, while wishing him years of unprecedented achievements in the power ministry.
