Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Chief Adebayo Adelabu has joined other eminent Nigerians and people of Ibadanland to congratulate the 42nd Olubadan in the history of Ibadanland, Senator Lekan Balogun as he ascends to the throne of his forefathers.
The Agba- Akin Parakoyi of Ibadanland stated this in a congratulatory message made available to journalists by one of his media aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro on the recent approval of his nomination by the State government.
According to the former CBN Boss, Oyo State and especially Ibadan city is blessed to have a highly educated administrator and a political juggernaut as a king who will use his wide experience for the development of the city.
“I have no doubt in my mind that the appointment of Senator Lekan Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan will usher in further meaningful development to the ancient city of Ibadan”
Chief Adebayo Adelabu called on the people of Ibadan and Oyo state in general to work collectively with Oba Lekan Balogun for the advancement of the city.
The APC Chieftain also prayed to God to grant the monarch many more years on earth in good health and wisdom on the throne of his forefathers.
