Soliu Adebare Abu-Gbadamosi is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola federal constituency seat in the house of representatives.
His father, Alhaji Abubakar Gbadamosi, is a known progressive.
Abu-Gbadamosi, who is a former secretary general of the Students Union Government of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, was said to have emerged candidate at a primaries that took place in Otu, headquarters of Itesiwaju local government.
The Ilero-born engineer will be facing ‘Sina Oyedeji, from Okeho, who had earlier emerged candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The federal constituency, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, is currently being represented by Shina Peller, who is interested in the senate seat of Oyo North.
In a chat with this newspaper Wednesday morning, the youthful politician thanked party members for reposting the confidence in him, adding that he would not let them down.
He, however, urged members of the party to close ranks ahead of the general elections so as to record victories in virtually all contest.
