Few weighty men stuck to the lordship of a crumbling house. In a desperate attempt to rebuild the house, they sweet-talked some differently aggrieved, selfish, fellow landlords of other houses into making their own houses dilapidated and join them to rebuild the crumbling house. Together, overtaken by avarice, the coterie of landlords allowed a ‘timid’ tenant the sole rebuilding of the crumbling house. The ‘timid’ tenant settled the avaricious landlords with caches of cash wrapped in final reward, in disguised kindness, of the crumbling house he would solely rebuild.
After the ‘timid’ tenant sweated and struggled, with the laborious efforts of the coterie of landlords, had turned the crumbling house to a befitting, money-spinning edifice, he curries the sole lordship of the edifice to himself. He hires bulldogs to man the entrance, preventing the coterie of landlords from sniffing the opulence of the edifice. The ‘timid’ tenant of yesterday looks the landlords in the face and screams at them that he has satisfied their avarice; that he’s the only landlord that the rebuilt edifice recognises. The coterie of landlords were shocked to the marrow that their slur speeching, ‘timid’ tenant could call their bluff and damn the consequence!
Having seen the handwriting of deprivation of largesse on the wall, the differently aggrieved landlords, who got their own house dilapidated before teaming up with the hitherto weighty men to rebuild the latter’s crumbling house, returned home to the house they left dilapidated, wearing prodigal countenance. The earlier weighty men, reduced to weightless stalwarts, having suffered enough deprivations, succumbed to destiny and left their terroristic tenant to enjoy the opulence of their rebuilt edifice alone.
But while the weakened men have decided to leave the hirer of bulldogs alone to enjoy his pleasure and opulence, the sole landlord of the edifice appears not ready to allow his former landlords to inhabit the land as he unleashes his bulldogs to destruct a house refurbished by the weakened landlords so that they could have a land to lord over again!
Let the landlords continue to bask in the fire of self-inflicted persecutions! Violence is always parallel with Peace. We choose whichever at our own protection or peril!
