Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has described the death of Senator Abiola Ajimobi as a bitter pill that can not be easily swallo
Buhari, a lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly said, “I receive the news with disbelieve because I was hopeful that he would come back to us alive.”
The lawmaker who served as Special Adviser and Commissioner under the late governor lamented that even though his death came at a time he least expect but it is the will of Almighty Allah.
“I have lost a brother, benefactor and political leader, it indeed a sad moment we can only pray to Almighty Allah to forgive his sins and comfort us,” he noted.
Senator Buhari who is the chairman Senate committee on Land Transport said that we are consoled with the fact that he left a good legacy which he would forever be remembered for.
“I pray that Almighty God will continue to grant him eternal rest and comfort his immediate, extended and political family,”
