Oyo 2019: Online Poll Shows Makinde’s Victory Is A Toss-up | Zainab Abdullahi

As things stand in Oyo State, the vast majority who focus on the race for the forthcoming gubernatorial election will study that, chances of the Gubernatorial candidate under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Engineer Seyi Makinde is brighter than other gubernatorial candidates .

Another history was made on Sunday as Makinde was adjudged and likely winner of the main poll following the outcomes and his ratings at the transparent Miss Oyo State Award Ceremony organized by the foremost Radio State in Oyo State, the Fresh Fm.Makinde ratings suggest that he is the most preferred candidate for the post come 2019 .

The poll released shows that the based voters are dead set in support for their preferred candidate who is Makinde as the online poll showed the race is a toss-up for Makinde. The poll has boosted the morale of Makinde’s candidacy as he will be garnering more support among real voters and backed by common men on the streets.

Though the closeness of the online poll among the three leading candidates is not surprising, but the strong support of likely based voters as surveyed for Makinde is in tandem with what people are saying across the state and as surveyed, people are not intending to change their minds in the forthcoming race.

Over sixty percent of voters are ready to vote for Makinde,a highly unusual situation but this will not be far from the actual voting.

The poll results also suggested the effect which would help Makinde in the forthcoming election. Aside Makinde being the preferred people’s choice, how to improve Oyo State economy is also another cardinal point which they remain hopeful if Makinde is voted .

Buy and large, the online rating is a great start  and Makinde has gained more state attention to this effect.
