DEVELOPING: Ogunwuyi May Attend Alli’s Manifesto Unveiling

In what looks like a masterstroke, the immediate past chief of staff to ‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, may be in attendance as Sharafadeen Alli, incumbent senator and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, will unveil his manifesto.

Though he has not joined formally, OYOINSIGHT.COM learnt that the leadership of the APC are in talks with  Ogunwuyi, who resigned his appointment weeks back, to cause the movement of defectors into the party.

Themed Oyo AHEAD, the event is billed to commence around noon of Tuesday, 3rd November, 2026 at the Theophilus Ogunlesi hall of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.

It was further learnt some of the  defectors from Makinde’s camp are to join Alli in his bid to move Oyo ahead in the next few days.
