You Never Contributed To My Political Success – Agboworin Blasts Arapaja, Thanks Makinde

The member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Abass Adigun, popularly known as Agboworin, has dismissed claims of Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja’s contribution to his political success, insisting that his rise since 2011 was made possible by God and Governor Seyi Makinde.

Agboworin made the remarks while addressing the role individuals might claim to have played in his political journey, maintaining that Arapaja did not contribute to his personal or political achievements.

The lawmaker, who began his political journey in 2011, said his progress over the years should be credited to divine grace and the support he received from Governor Makinde.

He specifically acknowledged Makinde as instrumental to his political growth, rejecting any suggestion that Arapaja played a significant role in his emergence or achievements.

Agboworin also maintained that his political journey should be assessed based on his personal experience and contributions to public service rather than claims of influence by individuals.

His comments could draw attention within Oyo State’s political circles, particularly given the political relationships and alignments involving prominent figures in the state.

The remarks further highlight Agboworin’s position on those he considers responsible for his political development, with the federal lawmaker expressly acknowledging God and Governor Makinde while dismissing Arapaja’s contribution.
