The request of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State to use the premises of Mapo Hall for its presidential campaign in the state has been declined, OYOINSIGHT.COM can report.
The decision was communicated in a letter to the party by the Ibadan Local Governments Properties company signed by its Principal Executive Officer 1, Akano Musibau.
The rejection letter read: “I have the directive of the management to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated 20th October, 2026 with respect to the above subject matter.
“I am further directed to inform you that the proposed date is not available based on the fact that it has been booked by another applicants earlier.”
This newspaper understands that this development may be connected to the Presidential aspiration of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who is running against President Bola Tinubu.
