Ex-Rep Ajaja Joins Oyo South, Obtains Nomination Form

The National Secretary of ACCORD, Hon. (Dr) Adebukola Abiola Ajaja says her decision to pick the party’s “Expression of Interest Form” is borne out of passion to offer responsible, responsive and accountable representation for the constituents at the Red Chamber in Abuja.

Hon. Ajaja noted that following calls from majority of the people who can attest to her track record of achievements as a member who represented Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East Federal Constituency, the journey towards building a better Oyo South Senatorial District through a purposeful and determined legislative framework has commenced.

She made the declaration at the Oyo state ACCORD Secretariat, Yemetu, Ibadan shortly after picking an Expression of Interest Form for the Senate.

Accompanied by mammoth supporters and party faithful, Hon. Ajaja sought stakeholders support and cooperation to achieve the lofty ambition of a people-centred legislative assignment.

“I sincerely appreciate your trust, confidence and faith in my capacity as well as antecedents. I promise to do more than your expectations in this new task, with your backing”, Ajaja pledged.

Hon. Ajaja maintained that her aspiration will usher in inclusive leadership, empowerment for the youth, women and the elderly, poverty eradication, quality education and skill acquisition programmes.

“As a grassroots person, I have a good understanding of our people’s yearning and challenges; no efforts will be spared to provide workable solutions to all challenges facing our people”, she said.

The ACCORD National Scribe stressed that her wealth of experience in party administration, goodwill, strong social networks, altruism and integrity will be deployed to deliver dividends of good representation to Oyo South Senatorial District come 2027.

Hon. Ajaja expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Oyo State Working Committee of ACCORD under the Chairman, Prince Kolade Ojo, and the State Secretary, Hon. Olayinka Dairo, the State Public Relations Officer, Hon. Idris Oriyomi and other state executives for their exemplary qualities, which has continued to endear the party to the people.
