The Executive Council members of Ibadan North Local Government have unanimously endorsed the candidature of Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State.
This declaration was made during a courtesy visit by the council members to the Senator at his Bodija residence in Ibadan. The visit, which was marked by warmth and solidarity, underscored the strong political and emotional ties between Senator Alli and his local government of origin.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Council leaders emphasized that Ibadan North, being the Senator’s home base, is proud of his track record of service, leadership experience, and unwavering commitment to the development of Oyo State. They expressed confidence that his emergence as the APC gubernatorial candidate would not only strengthen the party but also position the state for purposeful governance.
The Council further noted that their endorsement was rooted in a collective belief that Senator Alli possesses the capacity, competence, and grassroots connection required to lead Oyo State to greater heights.
