2027 Guber Hopeful, Asanike Felicitates Oyo Muslims On Eid-el-Fitr

Oyo gubernatorial aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Prince Kola Asatola Asanike has extended his warmest congratulations to Muslims in Oyo State and indeed, Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Special greetings were extended to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Arusa l, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdul-Ganiyy Abubakar Agbotomokekere and the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states, Alh. Dawud Makanjuola Akinola.

In a statement issued to journalists on Friday, Prince Asanike greeted the Olubadan and Islamic leaders as he prayed for Allah’s guidance in leading the people.

He urged Muslims to emulate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by embracing love, peace, sharing, and unity.

The Ibadan Prince emphasized the importance of unity and cohesion among Muslims and non-muslims, calling on them to rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s government as it implements policies and reforms aimed at improving the lives of all Nigerians.

“Nigerians should have faith in President Tinubu’s government and its commitment to delivering on its promises,” Asanike said.

He noted that the values of Ramadan, such as compassion, generosity, and self-reflection, are essential for Nigeria’s growth and development. Prince Asanike encouraged Muslims to continue to pray for the country’s peace, stability, and prosperity.

The politician and technocrat also highlighted the need for Nigerians to come together to address the challenges facing the nation, especially insecurity, economic challenges, and social inequality.

He expressed confidence that with unity and determination, Nigerians can overcome these challenges and build a brighter future.

As Muslims gather with family and friends to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, Prince Asanike reminded them of the importance of forgiveness, reconciliation, and kindness. He prayed that the spirit of Ramadan would stay with Nigerians throughout the year.
