Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, who is a kinsman to the new mother confirmed the development in a tweet made after attending the christening ceremony.
Today, I had the privilege of leading my colleague lawmakers to the naming ceremony of the newborn child of Hon. Saminu Rilwan Gbadamosi, member representing Saki East/Atisbo State Constituency.
The ceremony, conducted in accordance with Islamic rites, was a beautiful and spiritually uplifting moment filled with joy, prayers and goodwill.
On behalf of the Oyo State House of Assembly, I extend hearty congratulations to the proud parents – the Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hajia Wasilat Adegoke, and our dear colleague, Hon. Saminu Rilwan Gbadamosi.
