Alhaja Modinat Abosede Adedibu, the PDP South West Zonal Women Leader, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan Designate, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, at his residence yesterday.
She was accompanied by Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Chairman of the Oyo State Pension Board, and other PDP women leaders.
During the visit, Alhaja Adedibu conveyed her best wishes to the Olubadan Designate and prayed for a successful reign. She expressed her joy at seeing the former Governor of Oyo State ascend to the throne of his forefathers, noting that he brings ease and progress wherever he leads.
She also referenced his tenure as Governor, during which he was affectionately known as “Idera De”, meaning “bringer of ease”.
Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige and the PDP women leaders also paid tribute to the Olubadan Designate, praying that his time as Olubadan would bring good fortune and prosperity to the people of Ibadan.
