Ibadan Borokinni Group has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on the occasion of his 90th birthday anniversary.
The group felicitated with the Olubadan in a statement signed by its Secretary, Borokinni Amb. Abdul-Hakeem Atilade, made available to journalists in Ibadan on Saturday.
“The President of Egbe Borokinni Ti Ile Ibadan, Borokinni Aare (Dr.) Yusuf Olatunji Lawal (Cacatin), joins Ibadan indigenes and well-wishers in celebrating the 90th birthday of His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I).
”President Lawal commends the monarch’s wisdom, peace, and dedication to Ibadan’s development. He praises Olubadan’s commitment to fairness, noting his stance against land grabbing and oppression. The President also acknowledges Olubadan’s devotion to serving humanity and preserving Yoruba traditions.
”He asked the Almighty God to grant His Imperial Majesty good health, a long life, and a prolonged reign on the stool, filling his heart with joy, peace, and fulfilment,” the statement read.
