Faozey Oladotun Nurudeen, an engineer and politician has mourned the demise of Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi, lawmaker representing Ibadan North federal constituency.
Akinremi, 51, died Tuesday night during a brief illness
Expressing sadness, the Oyo-born politician in a statement said that “I mourn the demise of Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi, whose passing is a profound loss to his family, constituents and all who benefited from his dedication to his constituents empowerment and development. He was truly the leader that led and the representative that represented.
“Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi was more than a politician – he was a beacon of hope for young people, urging them to strive for greatness and shape their communities positively.
“Transcending politics, Prince Akinremi was a brother with whom I shared life’s experiences. He was an ally I could depend on. He was my partner in progress, advancement and growth.
“He will be dearly missed.
“In total submission to Almighty Allah’s will, I pray his legacy continue to endure and his commitment to progress and development be always remembered.
“May the cherished memories of Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi bring comfort to his family and constituents during this difficult,” he added.
