In Saki, Philanthropist Completes Mosque Construction

    A Philanthropist and businessman, Ayiki Dendebula has completed the ongoing construction of a mosque in Saki, Okeogun zone of Oyo State.

    The construction of the religious centre, named Sheriff mosque, located at Oke-Dio area of the town follows a pattern of similar moves by the businessman, including the full construction of two and contribution to the completion of many others.

    Speaking after the construction, the Imam of the mosque, Sheikh Ahmad implored users to sustain its purpose, which is to worship.

    “The mosque is the house of Allah and should be accorded due reverence. It is not meant only for solat, it is an educational center, a place of serenity,” he said.

    He then expressed gratitude to the philanthropist on behalf of the Muslim community, noting that he is a man worthy of emulation.

    Speaking about his contributions, Dendebula expressed gratitude to Allah.

    “I am delighted to contribute to the successful completion of Sheriff mosque. I used to come here to drink water during my days in secondary school.

    “I have always wanted to contribute my own quota to the development of this mosque. I hope that this mosque will serve as a sanctuary for countless individuals and bring community closer together,” he noted.
