The case instituted by Shina Peller and others against the nomination of AbdulFatai Buhari as candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 election in Oyo north senatorial district.
Buhari, who is representing the district for a second term, has defeated others to emerge candidate of the party. Not satisfied, some other contestants approached the court.
At the Oyo State High Court, the court says it lacked jurisdiction as the applicants lacked locus standi to institute the action.
