Ilelabayo Bamidele, Labour Party, LP, candidate for Oluyole federal constituency, has provided streetlights for some communities.
This was in response to the insecurity ravaging some areas in the federal constituency.
In a statement made available to OYOINSIGHT.COM, by his media aide, Jeje Ibukun, Ilelabayo, explained that “as it is the primary purpose of a legislator to make a sound and robust laws that will impact on the lives of his constituents and as it is the primary responsibility of a serious government to protect the lives and properties of its citizens; this which has been lagging behind since the inception and influx of many political parties and individuals who have saddled the affairs of Oluyole Lg constituency especially at the Federal level.
“As security, human capital development and quality education are the mantra of the Hon. Ilelabayo’s campaign manifesto and in his various and recent interactions with communities and the residents across Oluyole Lg, one of the major challenges they face in their daily living is security so much that they now live in perpetual fear when it gets darker ; to tackle this with an immediate measure, Hon. Ilelabayo Bamidele has erected five solar panel lights at Abegunde , Odo-Ona Elewe (ward 2), and Odo Ona Kekere (ward 5). He promised that more of this goodwill will encapsulate all of the remaining wards in the Local govt.”
While empathizing with the people of Oluyole local govt, he assured them of quality assurance in terms of law making and bills that will be people centred.
And in return, the people thank Ilelabayo and assured him of their unalloyed supports and votes in the Presidential and Federal House of Reps come 2023.
