Dotun Sanusi, an Mogaji and Otun Apesinola of Ibadan, has been described as community builder as he clocks 54.
Raufu Olaniyan, who was recently removed as deputy governor of Oyo, made this known in a personally signed statement to celebrate the business mogul and industrialist.
According to the Igboho-born retired permanent secretary, “Engr. Dotun Sanusi is someone who needs to be studied carefully, especially those who want to commit themselves to development. This is a man who, out of love for his hometown, established businesses, to extend development and create jobs for the teeming youth populace.
”I am proud of his exploits. From jungle, he created Ilaji resorts, Ilaji farms, Ilaji football club which are today among the most visited places in the state. The resort, spanning over 28 villages in Oloyo village in Akanran area of Ona Ara local government has placed the state on higher pedestal.
”Apart from those who have been employed, his businesses generate fund for Oyo state though the various taxes they pay. His Ibadan College of Arts, Science and Technology, ICAST, is there in Ibadan, adding to the numbers of schools making Oyo proud. Engr. Sanusi‘s philanthropic gesture is second to none. In fact, he gives without looking back. He assists not only the poor and needy, his rich friends are also beneficiaries of his kindness.
“As he clocks 54, I want to identify with him, I want to thank him for what he has done for humanity. He is a good friend, brother and dependable ally that anybody can wish for himself. May God continue to be with you Oloye,” Olaniyan added.
