A prominent citizen of Oyo State and one of the leading captains of Industries in Nigeria, Engr Aderemi Oseni has expressed his bewilderment over the death of a first class monarch in Oyo State and indeed in Nigeria, Oba Dr Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi,Alaafin of Oyo, in the early hours of today at the age of 83 years.
Oseni, in a personally signed press release lamented that “the exit of this charismatic and scholastic monarch has created a big vacuum that will be difficult to fill for a very long time, though we take solace in the fact that Kabiyesi died a fulfilled man, it is however regrettable that he left us at a time when his wealth of experience and knowledge is very much needed especially at this very critical period in out national life.”
Oseni however, prayed that God Almighty will grant his soul a sweet repose and also prayed that the good Lord will grant the Adeyemi royal family, the people of Oyo kingdom and the entire Oyo State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
