Some major stakeholders in the Oyo State All Progressives Congress, APC, met the national legal adviser of the party in Abuja today.

Though details of the meeting were still sketchy as at press time, OYOINSIGHT.COM learnt that it cannot be unconnected with the crisis that marred last year’s congresses of the party in the state which produced Ajiboye Omodewu as chairman.

At the meeting were former deputy governor Moses Alake-Adeyemo; sports minister, Sunday Dare; Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, chairman, Adeolu Akande; governorship candidate of the party in the 2019 election, Adebayo Adelabu; senators Olufemi Lanlehin and Ayo Adeseun; Nigeria Postal Commission, NIPOST boss, Bayo Adewusi; Sharafadeen Alli; members of the house of representatives like Jide Olatunbosun, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe and others.

A source at the meeting hinted that “the meeting was held at the national secretary’s conference room. The minister and senator Adeseun made presentations on behalf of the stakeholders. The legal adviser promised to make recommendations after a balanced report form the other side. They later paid a courtesy visit to the Iyiola Omisore, in his office, asking for his support to settle the crisis as the Oga of the party from the Southwest.”
