A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Kolawole Kazeem Raji, has described the death of Angela Folarin as an untimely one.
Angela, who was the wife of the Senator representing Oyo Central senatorial district, Teslim Folarin, died on Friday.
The Oyo central senatorial hopeful, in a statement to mourn her passing, described her as grassroots politician par excellence.
“As a woman in politics, she ensured that the interests of the people of Oyo State were a priority. Beyond that, she was very committed to the development of the state in all spheres.
“She also represented the level of role women can play in the political scene without holding political offices.”
He then prayed that the Almighty grant her family and friends to bear the weight of her loss
