ALAO-AKALA: I’ve Lost A Pillar Of Support — Peller

    A member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency Oyo state, Honourable Shina Peller, has described the death of the former Oyo state governor, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, as a painful exit that will be greatly felt by many.

    Hon. Peller’s condolences was contained in a statement he personally issued and shared on his social media platforms, where he described the late former governor as not only his political leader, but a father who would always there to support everything that has to do with him.

    In the same vein, he seized the opportunity to express his heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s son, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, who he described as his brother and bossom friend, his entire family, the people of Ogbomosoland and Oyo state at large for the loss.

    He prayed that the soul of the late Otunba Alao-Akala finds peace with God, and that God consoles all his loved ones.

    The statement read in full:

    “It is with a heavy heart that I received the news of the death of our respected leader in Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, the former Oyo State Governor, who died today at the age of 71.

    “Aside from being my political leader, the late Otunba Alao-Akala was like a father to me from my school days in LAUTECH Ogbomosho coupled with the fact that his son, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, is my brother and bossom friend.

    “Until his death, I have continued to enjoy a cordial father-son relationships with him. He supported everything that has to do with me.

    “My heartfelt condolences to his entire family, members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), the good people of Ogbomosoland and Oyo state at large. Baba will be greatly missed by all. I pray that his soul finds peace with God, and that God consoles us all. Amen.”
