The renovated and furnished students union government building of the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, will be commissioned today.
The project was courtesy of Victor Olojede, special assistant to Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, on student matters.
It would be recalled that the students of the institution had, during Olojede’s tour of higher students, requested that their SUG building needed a facelift.
This was just as they informed him of their intention to name the building after Makinde who, they said, has transformed the educational sector in Oyo State.
Speaking in a chat with OYOINSIGHT.COM, Olojede explained that “During my last school tour, I was at the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa and after meeting with the management and students, I also had a meeting with their leaders at their union building. We both discussed how Governor Seyi Makinde has brought transformation in the education sector of Oyo state which has translated to the greater development of future leaders in the state. They informed me of how they have agreed to name the SUG building after His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde but that their union building was not in a good state. I assured and lromised them that something will be done to it. Today we will be commissioning the renovated and furnished “H.E ENGR. OLUSEYI MAKINDE SUG BUILDING.“
