A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Yunus Akintunde has congratulated muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitr.
Yunus, a 2023 senatorial hopeful, in a statement on Wednesday evening, noted that the completion of the month of Ramadan calls for reflections among Muslims.
“As we celebrate Eid, it is important for us to reflect on ourselves and ensure that the lessons we learnt during this month guides our attitude even after Ramadan,” he said.
He also urged Muslims to use the occasion of Eid to pray to Almighty Allah regarding the insecurity in the country, noting that the tough time the country is facing is desirable be none.
“May Allah count us all among his servants who will witness this holy month in coming years,” he added.
