Elder statesman and All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, Chief Bisi Akande has promised to meet Yoruba leaders over the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking on Sunday when the South West Agenda for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (SWAGA) led by Senator Dayo Adeyeye, paid him a courtesy visit, Akande commended the effort of the group, prayed for them with a promise to visit all Yoruba elders and deliver SWAGA’s message which is calling on Tinubu to contest for Nigeria’scpresidency come 2023 to them.
The former governor of Osun State said that it is the turn of a Yoruba man to be at the helms of Nigeria affair and the best person is Tinubu.
On the SWAGA entourage are co ordinators for all the South West states of Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Lagos and others.
The group later visited the Governor of the State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola.
