The Contruction Professionals Association (Local Content Group) in Oyo State congratulates the newly appointed commissioner for environment in the state, Mr. Lateef Oyeleke, describing his nomination by Governor Seyi Makinde as a round peg in a round hole.
The professional body, in a press statement by its Public Relations Officer, Engineer Adeniran Salam on Friday said that it was ‘confident that the people of Oyo State will enjoy enormous benefit from the well of experience that Oyeleke will be bringing to the table of good governance.”
The statement says further that, “by this nomination, Governor Makinde is not leaving anyone in doubt about the fact that his administration is an all-inclusive government.
“Lateef Oyeleye comes across as a thorough breed professional who is passionate about the growth and development of Oyo State.
“He and Governor Makinde are of a like mind and we are more than confident that his nomination into the cabinet would up the bar of good governance in the state.
“While it is appropriate to congratulate Oyeleke for his appointment, it is more important to congratulate the good people of Oyo State for having such a worthy hand in the service of the state.
“We wish the new commissioner a successful tenure in the Environment portfolio where he currently serves and we also enjoin him to deliver his usual best to the service of the state government and the people.”
