Hon. AbdulRasheed Adegboyega has prayed for ailing former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
This is just as Adegboyega, who was an aspirant for Oluyole federal constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress, APC, urged people not to stop their prayers for his quick recovery.
OYOINSIGHT.COM reports that Ajimobi is currently receiving medical treatment at the First Cardiology Hospital in Lagos.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, Adegboyega stated that the former governor is a progressive politician whose in-depth understanding of governance is unrivalled.
He also wondered why some naysayers would mislead the public about Ajimobi’s health status noting that people who spread such sort of news should desist from it.
“May Almighty Allah grant him quick recovery so that he can return to lead our party to greatness in Oyo State again,” Adegboyega added.
