The chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Park Management System in Oyo State, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as Auxiliary, has reacted to a claim by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State, Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan, that Governor Seyi Makinde might not win a re-election bid in 2023.
OYOINSIGHT.COM reports how Olopoeyan, in an interview aired of Noble FM in Ibadan berated the Seyi Makinde administration in the state for the poor handling of intra-party affairs by the Governor.
While reacting to the claim, Auxiliary challenged Olopoeyan to retract his statement.
According to him, Makinde has, so far, governed the state with a focus on his roadmap to accelerated development agenda for the state.
He then asked who Olopoeyan is, and questioned his contribution to the emergence of the governor in the 2019 polls.
He also stated that Olopoeyan was the one who nearly truncated the senatorial bid of the flag bearer of the PDP in the 2019 polls, Dr. Muhammed Kola Balogun.
Auxiliary also noted that Makinde had also launched mobile numbers through which anyone not so satisfied with the current administration can express their grievances.
He then warned Olopoeyan to desist from misleading the good people of the state.
