According to him,  there is the need for the people of Oke-Ogun area of Oyo state to give him their total support on his aspiration by ensuring that come 2019,  he is voted in as the next Governor of Oyo state for the next four years”

Alao-Akala stressed that failure of the people of Oke Ogun to give him the needed support could result in the area losing out to another zone of the state for the next eight years, adding that as far as the people of Oke Ogun area of Oyo state are concerned, supporting him in the forthcoming polls “is the way to go ” as he represents the true face of Politics and politicking in the entire Oke Ogun area of Oyo state.

“In as much as we need support from all zones of the state, we must not forget a wise saying that  “charity begins at home”, we should take our destiny in our own hands.

“Your support for my aspiration to govern Oyo state is a support for the development of Oke-Ogun,” he said.

Otunba Alao-Akala emphasized “that,  for the current agitation that Oke-Ogun must produce the next Governor of Oyo state to come to fruition, the people of the area needs to be careful with the choice of who to present and support for the 2019 election.”

“We must be careful with our choice. We must present a candidate that has all it takes to win an election and we cannot afford to go to the polls with a divided house, it will be disastrous to the much desired upliftment of our region we have been clamouring for.  I still have another constitutional single term of 4 years which is an opportunity we must all maximize to bring further development to Oke-Ogun.”

He noted further that “if we fail to utilise this opportunity of 4years staring us in the face,  we will have to wait for another eight years which will not augur well for us”, saying, “the other zones are not resting on their oars to snatch this opportunity from us and we must not allow them disenfranchise us.”
