A gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Dr. Yunus Akintunde has urged Nigerians, especially the people of Oyo State to tolerate one another as there is no perfect being.
This is just as the Oyo-born politician called for continuous prayers for the country so as for it to move fully out of the many problems facing it.

Akintunde, who made these known in his Eid message, said that “tolerance is one of the key ingredients of development. Nigeria, for example, is made up of many ethnic groups as well as religious adherents. Without tolerance, there will be anarchy and when this happens, development and growth will be stalled.”

“Unlike in the past when we celebrated festivals without been selective in choosing who will celebrate with, it is time our leaders emphasis the need for harmonious relationship.
“While I greet Muslims on the occasion of ‎this year’s Eid-l-fitr celebration, I want us to continue in our prayers for the country and our prayers. We have to pray for divine guidance. It is when they lead the way they should that we will all enjoy and the needed development will come,” he advocated.
Urging Muslims not to forget all the lessons learned during the 29 days, he advised them to continue to ‎be good ambassadors of Islam
