40 Day Fidau: Ajimobi Lives On, Left Historical Footprints — Soji Akanbi

The immediate past Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Rilwan Soji Akanbi has prayed that God continue to have mercy on the soul of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi.

OYOINSIGHT.COM reported that Ajimobi, a two-term Governor of Oyo State, died in June after a suffering from multiple organ failure caused by COVID-19.

Soji Akanbi, in a statement to Mark the 40 day fidau prayer for Ajimobi, maintained that he left footprints and memories that will remain unforgettable.

His statement read: “Today, as we mark the 40 days fidau prayer of my late egbon, my uncle, our governor and our leader; we should celebrate his life as he left footprints and memories which history will not forget.

“The sweet memories we had together remains unforgettable.

“May God continue to have mercy on his soul and continue to grant his soul a peaceful repose.”
