Three house of representatives members from Oyo State — Olu Akintola, Jide Olatubosun and Olumide Ojerinde were in attendance as Akin Oke, the outgoing chairman of the Oyo State hapter of the All Progressives Congress, submitted a harmonised list of the would-be state Excos of the party.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that the party is divided.
Stakeholders from the party had been invited to Abuja few weeks ago to find lasting solution to the crisis. They were later asked to go home, sit down together and come together with a harmonized list.
But last week, the party held two separate meetings — at former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala’s house and the other at the party’s secretariat respectively.
While the Alao-Akala held that they stood by the congress that produced Ajiboye Omodewu as chairman, the one led by Oke said they would go on with the harmonized list.
