Alhaji Abass Oloko, a prominent Mogaji in Ibadan has said that he won’t support anyone to obtain form and contest against the lawmaker representing Ibadan North East / Ibadan South East Federal Constituency, Honourable Abass Adigun Agboworin.

He said this at the Empowemet Program of the lawmaker in Ibadan on Saturday.

He said whoever wants to contest for the House of Representatives seat in the constituency should calm down and allow Agboworin complete his second term.

His words: “We aren’t new in politics. God has put us there sincere. You can have degree, Ph.D others but you don’t need to be educated to be a landlord, someone that has built a house is regarded as landlord. We have been in politics since the 1960. I haven’t seen someone that’s humble as this and who didn’t hide himself.

“What I want to say is I won’t support anyone who will obtain form to contest with Honourble Agboworin. We want continuation of this. He’s not a House of Representatives member that will runway. I haven’t seen him wear Agbada before. Whoever wants to contest in our place or elsewhere should go and sit-down somewhere.

“The Governor is doing well. If we now see someone beside him complementing his efforts, we must support him. When APC was in government, did you see anything like this.

“Nobody should come to me that he wants to contest against Agboworin. People I want to respect are people I talk too. He’s not enjoying the goodwill of his father. His father wasn’t a politician not to talk of him enjoying his goodwill. He did his own without spoiling his father’s name.

“Whoever wants to contest should go and calm down and allow him to complete his tenure.”
