Teslim Folarin, three-term senator and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, early Wednesday morning officially revealed the name of his running mate— David Oluwafemi Okunlola, Ph.d.
This comes same day campaign for governorship and house of assembly candidates kickstarted.
4) He bagged B.Sc. (Animal Science) from Nigeria’s Premier University, University of Ibadan in 2001.
5) He observed his mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Federal College of Education (SP), Oyo in same Department he had his NCE program.
6) He was appointed a Class Teacher by Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and posted to Community High School, Pade in Akinyele where he taught Agricultural Science for Eight years.
7) He bagged his masters and Ph.D in 2005 and 2016 respectively from the University of Ibadan.
9) He rose through the ranks to the position of Senior Lecturer on October 1, 2017. He has been reviewed for the position of an Associate Professor in same University.
10) He was the governorship candidate of All Grassroots Alliance Party in the 2019 General Elections, a project sponsored by OkeOgun Development Consultative Forum, ODCF, the umbrella body for Okeogun indigenes.
11) He is a prolific academic; he has published many journal articles in onshore and offshore publication outlets nationally and internationally. As at the last count he has close to 30 publications covering dissertations, journal articles, and referred conference proceedings.
12) His twin brother, Kehinde, is chairman of CAN in Saki West local government.
13) His late dad late Pa Samuel Olawoyin OKUNLOLA was known as Baba Bookseller.
